Hi guys! It’s been a while. This grocery shopping dietitian owes the world a life update since I have not blogged in ONE YEAR, but first, check out this little grocery haul that I did on my day off this week. Come grocery shopping with a dietitian to see some of my weekly staples!
This week I stuck to shrimp and yogurt as my protein sources (and eggs, but I already had those). For carbohydrate sources I chose fresh fruits and some air popped popcorn to snack on. Fat sources included cashews. This food is by no means all I am eating this week! I eat lunch at work daily, so I don’t have to worry about buying that food at the grocery store, which is nice. Also, I tend to go out to eat 2 times per week. These groceries, along with things I had in the fridge, will fuel me for the week.
Who else tries to get all their groceries in one trip?? I can’t be the only one who loads up their arms with all the groceries. After all, what are these muscles for if I have to make two trips from the car to the house? Come on now.
I am hoping to put together a little recipe later this week that includes shrimp and Mexican flair; stay tuned!
