We all somewhere.
The Girl Behind the Health
When it comes to fitness and health, we all start somewhere. The pic on the left was me after my first year of college. I ate badly and drank on the weekends. I was still battling an eating disorder. I never would have imagined that I would find myself on a fitness journey. Fast forward several years and I have found balance in fitness and competed in bodybuilding and crossfit competitions.
Growing up I had hated the way I looked. I was never able to see what I actually looked like due to the terrible body image in my head. I fought with bulimia for 8 years, and the obsession with food led me to pick nutrition as a college major.
Education & Experience
I am qualified to help you! Through my 7+ years of education and various training styles over the years, I found balance. I learned how to put down the shit food (..cheese fries..) and how to eat to fuel my body to reach goals. I wised up, stopped making excuses, and changed my life. I graduated college with a B.S. in Dietetics, and went onto my dietetic internship. From there, I passed the boards test and became a Registered Dietitian. I also have a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition. I work as a clinical dietitian in a world renowned hospital, and I help clients through my own business.
Through exercise and experience in the fitness industry, I have learned real life strategies for optimal nutrition and fitness. Nutrition is my passion; fitness is my sanity. My mission is to share my passion and education with others, so that they may find balance too.
Journey with me
You will hear people say “if I can do it, so can you.” This is SO TRUE. Anyone can make a change, regardless of their situation. I was just a typical drunk college girl. Now I help others daily to change their lives to for the best. If we can do it, so can you.
Let’s take the journey to optimal health together. Enjoy the ride and share the love, pain, and effort with someone who really gets it. Use my recipes to make healthy eating easy. Learn about nutrition from me in basic, real language. Learn to have a healthy relationship with food. But most importantly, let’s motivate each other and live a healthy, sustainable, and balanced life. I’m in it for the long haul!
